Rob McCormick

Rob launched Avatara in 2005, designed to supply small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs) with robust, enterprise-grade IT services via an exclusive, secure, in-house solution. Prior to Avatara, he held the CEO position at Savvis from 1999 to 2005, where he introduced the industry's first virtualized managed hosting platform. Under his leadership, the company underwent a series of strategic acquisitions, extensive equity raises, and significant growth, leading to one of the largest tech IPOs at the time. Before his impactful stint at Savvis, Rob was the COO of Bridge Information Systems, which was restructured to create Savvis in the year 2000.
