Ray Semko, aka The D*I*C*E Man, is a security educator and a professional public speaker who is nationally known for his popular and motivating D*I*C*E (Defensive Information to Counter Everything) security awareness briefings which he has been providing to American audiences since 1989.

Semko has over 40 years of valuable security and counterintelligence experience through his years of government service in the US military and Intelligence Community, primarily as a Counterintelligence Special Agent.

While serving in the US government, Ray Semko’s highly informative and entertaining D*I*C*E briefings that he created became very popular and were in demand throughout the US government and government contractors. He has has presented D*I*C*E all around the world – often to standing room only audiences. Semko’s briefing is the only security briefing people still remember after many years.

Since retiring from government service in July 2006, he has devoted to being a full-time professional public speaker providing his signature D*I*C*E briefings. Semko’s rapid-fire, no-nonsense approach focuses on the message: Americans need to be constantly vigilant and responsible for their own protection.

He exposes America’s adversaries, their targets and methods of operation and reveals how to prevent these adversaries from exploiting our nation’s security and your organization’s security by effectively protecting classified, proprietary and sensitive information.

He motivates his audience to rededicate themselves to their families and jobs, to live with honor and integrity and to do the right thing when no one is looking.

Semko’s goal is to keep you safe, your family safe and your organization safe. When these are safe, secure and strong, then America is also.

As an interesting side note, while serving an overseas tour with the US Army in Vicenza, Italy from 1976 to 1984, Semko became the first head coach of the Italian National Team of American-style football players.

He taught them the rules, proper techniques, self-discipline and served as the motivator to get the best out of them.

This led his Italian national team winning the 1983 European Championship. He also coached his own team, the Milan Rhinos, to three Super Bowl Championship in their American Football Italia (AIFA) league.

Semko told his team before every championship game, “If you win this game, for the rest of your lives you will always be a champion.”

D*I*C*E Security Awareness Briefings

This presentation includes: the numerous and potential threats to US national security, to American companies, to jobs, to our families. • Top security concerns and new cases in the areas of espionage, economic espionage and terrorism • Methods of operations of the organization’s adversaries. • Greatest threat that confronts organizations: the disgruntled insider who is able to do immense damage. • Security concerns with social networks, cybersecurity and identity theft. • Personal security and safety for the attendee as well as their families. • OPSEC or security countermeasures. • Understanding the value of and the need to protect classified or proprietary information. • Indicators that are exhibited by the volunteer spy. • Reporting responsibilities when people observe suspicious activity and who should receive those reports. Often people are afraid to get involved when they see something wrong--I motivate them on the need to act and the consequences of not taking action.

Sacred Honor Lost

The importance of integrity and honor in the workplace, a topic too often forgotten in this age of so many corruption cases of waste, fraud and abuse.

When the Founding Fathers wrote the Declaration of Independence, they stated at the end of the document: ". . . we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor" and then signed their names. Those that built America considered their reputation and honor so important that they called it “sacred.” Regarding it with reverence, high respect and as equally if not more important than their own life and wealth.

America today has gotten away from considering one’s own reputation, honor and integrity to be sacred. We read story after story of professional business and government people committing waste, fraud and abuse and sacrificing their honor for greed. As the result, trust and confidence in professions, companies and government agencies is lost. This needs to stop.

How to be a Champion

This presentation is about leadership and the way to motivate your team to WIN, based on my experience leading an Italian football team to three Super Bowl championships in Italy while I was stationed there in the US Army.

I became the first head coach of the Italian National Team of American-style football players. I taught them the rules, proper techniques, self-discipline and served as the motivator to get the best out of them.

Life is Worth Living

This presentation covers the pitfalls of drug/opiod use and excessive alcohol as well as addressing the growing problem of the number of suicides and sexual harassment in the military services.

My unique motivational style wakes people up and gets them energized and re-charged to take action and make positive changes.
