Philip Cuff has presented all over the world from Australia to Qatar, and from Singapore to the United States, to intimate groups of 50 people, to large scale events of thousands.
Phil has over 25 years’ experience as a CEO, board director, startup founder, international presenter, and multi-patented inventor in emerging technologies and cybersecurity.
Phil has founded technology companies in multiple countries such as UAE-based digital signage technology company, FinesseTech, and Australian companies TokenOne and Cocoon Data Ltd, which achieved a market cap peak of over $300 million on the Australian Stock Exchange trading as Covata Ltd.
Phil has presented around the world, including to leaders in the US defense and intelligence community in a closed-doors event at Pentagon City outside Washington DC.
Following from that presentation, Phil headed a year-long e-commerce security project that TokenOne was invited to join at the US National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) together with RSA and Splunk. In that project, NCCoE made the decision to deploy TokenOne for protection against the highest risk vulnerability (internal bad actors), even ahead of any security alternatives from RSA.
As a result of that project, in June 2019 the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) wrote up TokenOne Authentication in the national standards for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for the United States.
In 2018, Phil was asked by the Qatar Central Bank to present on the subject of “Zero Knowledge Password Proof” at its annual cybersecurity event in Doha, Qatar.
Phil is the primary inventor of the TokenOne “User Authentication” patent, which has been granted in the United States, and is the inventor of a new solution to “Self-Sovereign Data” that seeks to ensure the authenticity and integrity of data without the need to trust any third party such as a technology service provider, bank, government etc.
