Peter A. Brandt is an Author, Technical Writer and Technical Trainer who has traveled and worked around the world. As an Air Force Instructor, Peter taught detailed engine, propeller, and theory of flight to a vast audience.

Presently he is a working in the Auto Industry, writing manuals and training equipment used by most of the major auto manufacturers. Peter travels extensively around the world training operators to use the equipment and technicians how to maintain the equipment.

After 20 years with the Canadian Air Force -- in which he managed to avoid becoming general -- Peter Brandt retired at the ripe age of 38 and became a technical writer. Like Kane in Kung Fu, Peter journeyed from Toronto to Nova Scotia, to Abu Dhabi, and many interesting points in between. Putting his first-hand knowledge of aircraft (nearly two decades as a mechanical tech working in areas of fighter jets and helicopters where no human being was meant to go), Peter wrote Fly Fearless, a how-to guide to overcoming a fear of flying with facts. In a concise, 112-page volume, filled with illustrations, Peter identifies the sounds that freak us out, describes the principles keeping a plane in the air, as well as the numerous, redundant safety systems that keep the whole thing operating, even in the worst of circumstances.
