Paul Griffin

Paul Griffin's message to his graduate student audiences is simple: buying a home might not be the best decision for their future plans. In some cases, renting will be the right move. It all depends on individual situations.

Paul has developed and presented his seminar on housing options for graduate students which helps students start to question what will be right path in their future housing plans. It discusses renting vs. buying, the pros and cons of owning a home, the home buying process, home loans, equity accumulation, and the proper way to search for properties online. Finally, Paul offers a free service for those students who would like help being connected with a great Realtor and lender to help them begin the home buying process.

Paul has presented to the graduating classes at the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University (2016-17), the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine (2016), and the University of Minnesota Medical School (2017).

When there is a better way to move, it is important to first educate consumers regarding their options, and offer an easier way to move which many do not know is available to them.

As a coach and a teacher, Paul was fortunate to work with all types of talents, personalities, skills and emotions. While all of these pieces are necessary for success… all need solid guidance, a level head, and a clear path. Especially when under intense pressure.

That was Paul's role throughout his coaching and teaching career. This continues to be his role as a Stark Company Realtor®.

*While having lived in more than nine communities around the Midwest, Paul has roots in Madison, WI. He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, has taught Business Education and coached various middle and high school sports. While at UW-Whitewater, Paul was part of the Men’s Basketball coaching staff for eight seasons that included three WIAC conference championships, three NCAA Division III Tournament appearances and the 2012 NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball National Championship.
