I’m Oscar Morales Cuéllar — a software engineer, globally recognized social entrepreneur, speaker, and strategist in technological innovation. My work focuses on bridging artificial intelligence, technology, and education with communities that have historically been excluded from digital development — from Latin America to the world.
I’m the CEO and founder of Tecsify, a Guatemalan-born innovation ecosystem and EdTech company recognized internationally for its work in inclusive digital empowerment. Through a hybrid model, we’ve trained over 20,000 people across 10 countries, delivering accessible tech solutions even in low-connectivity environments using our own platforms and low-bandwidth channels like WhatsApp and Telegram.
In 2024, our project TechRoots was highlighted by the World Economic Forum as one of the most impactful initiatives in Central America and the Caribbean. In 2025, Tecsify received the World Summit Award in the highly competitive “Learning & Education” category — becoming the first Guatemalan project to ever win in this space and placing Guatemala on the global map of purpose-driven digital transformation.
My work has been recognized by institutions including the United Nations, the World Economic Forum, UNESCO, NASA Space Apps, and Humboldt University in Berlin. I’ve also been part of global networks such as Global Shapers and the World Summit Awards, where I’ve led initiatives now considered regional case studies in innovation, youth leadership, social mobility, and tech inclusion.
I also work as an international consultant, supporting governments, companies, and multilateral organizations in designing technology-driven development strategies. In parallel, I’ve spent over eight years building software in high-performance global environments — working with technologies like Python, Go, and JavaScript, and designing distributed systems ranging from Linux-based architectures to serverless infrastructures. My projects span education, AI, fintech, and social impact.
I firmly believe that Latin America has the talent and drive to become the next global tech powerhouse.
