Nirupa Netram

Nirupa Netram is a certified global diversity, equity, and inclusion professional, certified inclusive and ethical leadership professional, attorney, social entrepreneur, mediator, and arbitrator, who was born in Guyana and grew up in Florida. She has more than 26 years of experience in the government, private, and nonprofit sectors, in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), operations, strategic planning, human resources, program management, compliance, and more.

Nirupa earned her Bachelor of Business Administration (cum laude) from Stetson University and Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law. She is the CEO of Lotus Solutions LLC, a Florida-certified woman and minority-owned enterprise that helps businesses create a fair and just workplace, through consulting, customized learning experiences, coaching, and keynote speeches in DEI, leadership development, and more. In partnership with Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees, Nirupa launched the first Delivering on the Dream (DOTD) collaborative in Florida, investing needed resources to help immigrants and refugees achieve their dreams for a better life.

Nirupa has written articles for Smooth Sale, Racing Toward Diversity Magazine, Fair Play Talks, and the Lee County Bar Association.

She is an Inclusion Allies Coalition (IAC) member and served on the IAC’s Social Media and Marketing Committee. Nirupa also served on the Strategic Planning Task Force of The Centre for Global Inclusion. The Florida Bar appointed her to serve on their Standing Diversity and Inclusion Committee and Gender Equality Subcommittee. She also serves on the Horizon Council's Supplier Diversity Committee. Nirupa served on the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, Equity Committee, and the Lee County Bar Association's Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She co-chairs the immigration law practice section of the Lee County Bar Association, a section she championed creating.
