As one of the earliest hires at Uber in 2012, Buteau led Uber as Recruiter #1 for international markets. With a passion for diversity, he built and ran Uber's recruiting function in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, scaling a community of 2000+ employees across 45 countries. As a leader in establishing corporate practice and growth, Buteau was then headhunted to be Global Head of Executive Recruiting at (a second decacorn:) Booking.com.
