Nicola Tenyue

Nicola Tenyue has over 10 years experience working in mental health, helping individuals to feel great about themselves. Nicola has now elevated herself in this field and is on the way to becoming a prominent figure in the UK for inspiring and improving mood and achievements for Black adults and young people. Currently working for the NHS, Nicola studied at Universty College London (UCL) and further gaining specialist knowledge after completing a BABCP accredited course at The Royal Holloway university, Nicola now delivers Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) treatment, helping people to overcome disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD & low self-esteem.

As as a women of colour and a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist Nicola is aware of the vulnerabilities and obstacles faced by Black women wanting to succeeding in the world and faced when accessing support. Aware of the positive benefits of having access to certain information and being Psychologically clued up. Nicola is the CEO of DevelopingME a organisation set up to reduce stigma and make mental health fun, increase resilience for adults and young people.
