Nathan leads Hawaii’s most experienced public relations practice and is immersed in the local business community where he draws upon his media insights, marketplace knowledge and industry connections to counsel clients in various sectors to help them achieve their business goals.
A 17-year veteran of the company, Nathan brings a fresh perspective to the ever-changing landscape of communications and how these methods of outreach can be used most effectively to advance the strategic direction and success of Anthology’s clients. He has a strong background in strategic planning, media relations and emerging media, as well as experience in all aspects of public relations — including tourism, corporate and public affairs, issues management, crisis communications, government and community relations.
Nathan serves on the board of directors for the Honolulu Festival Foundation, JTB Goodwill Foundation, Junior Achievement of Hawaii, Friends of the Judiciary History Center of Hawai‘i, and Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Travel and Tourism Section.
He also currently volunteers his time as a mentor in the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii's Young Professionals program, chairs the Pacific Club's NextGen Committee, and serves as vice president and fundraising chair of the Hui O Momilani Parent Teacher Student Organization.
In 2014, Nathan was named to Pacific Business News' "Forty Under 40" list of honorees. In 2013, the PRSA Hawai‘i Chapter awarded him the President’s Leadership Award in recognition of his contributions to the profession’s success. He is also a past president of PRSA Hawaii.
Raised on the island of Hawaii, Nathan graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, earning a B.A. in Journalism. He is also a graduate of Konawaena High School where he lettered in baseball.
