How to Decode Your Emotional Appetite

While it may feel good in the moment to indulge spontaneous urges, these habits eventually rob you of energy, time, emotional and physical well being. Once you learn how to separate your physical from your emotional appetite, you can then identify your deeper needs and learn how to address them. I created a unique approach to teach you this, and it doesn't involve diets, detoxes or pills. When you optimize your physical health in tandem with your emotional wellness, you show up as the best version of yourself. Your confidence skyrockets, you look incredible, and your energy soars.

How to Develop Mindful Eating and Drinking Habits

If you've noticed the negative effects of eating and drinking a bit too much, but struggle with knowing how to stop at less, my unconventional approach is sure to give you new hope. You've probably realized that diets and detoxes are only a temporary, quick-fix to the problem, but not a longterm solution. If you want to permanently change your relationship with food and alcohol, here are 5 key tips to make the shift. Instead of focusing on the outer rules of what you can and can't have, I'll teach you how to direct your focus inward. When you learn how to hear and respond to the subtle language of your body, you'll develop confidence and ability in knowing exactly what you need to feel and look your best.

Why A Sommelier Decided to Give Up "Wine Time"

As a professionally-trained chef and certified sommelier, I struggled for decades to balance my passion for food and alcohol with a desire to feel well and look my best. When I turned 40, the highlight of my day was spending "me time" with several glasses of wine and multiple bowls of ice cream. After years of pursuing a love affair with food and wine, I finally committed to making a change. Instead of going on yet another diet or detox program, I tried a new approach. I want to tell you the story of my journey of unlearning the love language of food and discovering the inner language of my body. You'll hear how I lost 45 pounds, cut back on drinking, and got into the best shape of my life in my 40's. The best part is that I did it all without giving up the food I love.
