- Due to her Lupus and Concussions, Miriam has suffered many health issues, sparking a passion for helping others heal.

Biography
Having always been interested with the human body, Miriam developed a passion for helping others. She studied Exercise science and soon after built a rehabilitation clinic. After her clinic became more successful, she decided to pursue a research project in Health, Kinesiology and Applied Physiology. Miriam had the pleasure of presenting her research on a world stage at the Lymphology Conference in Walchsee Conference and again at Concordia University.
Miriam’s research made her realize that in order to heal, overcome barriers and achieve one’s objectives, the mind is just as important as the physical body. She soon started to mentor and coach various clients she saw at the rehabilitation clinic. Having taught for several years, she realized that she also contributed to her students' learning not only through the house material, but also through coaching and guiding the students. As her passion for coaching, consulting and mentoring grew, she opened a new business named The Adaptive Human.
Despite the many health and financial hurdles, she faced throughout her life, Miriam’s passion for business could not be staunched. In 2014, she joined a BNI networking group and quickly started to take on leadership roles in the organization. She went from chapter leadership to becoming a director consultant. Miriam is not only a chapter consultant but now also a Training Director for the Montreal area.
With The Adaptive Human podcast, Miriam hopes to help offer resources to as many different business owners as possible. She has a passion for interacting with others and for absorbing information.
