Millicent Murray

I, Millicent Murray, am an author, entrepreneur, and licensed minister. I am a new speaker/presenter, but have delivered high-energy speeches and sermons that engage the audience and encourages individual thinking and application to one’s life. I enjoy presenting on inspirational and motivational topics and focus my presentations on emotional intelligence, human conduct, and conflict resolution.

I have a vast knowledge of the administrative field and believe that it is one of the most important roles in a corporation. With over twenty years of administrative experience, I have done presentations on such and thoroughly enjoy sharing my learned and experienced knowledge in a fun and engaging setting. I was a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) where I earned Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) and Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) ratings and supported the local chapter, Liberty Bell. I served on the newsletter committee, as vice president and president of the Chapter. I was instrumental in bringing the Liberty Bell Chaper to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and hosted Chapter educational meetings inviting administrative professionals from various departments to help bring about growth and development in their roles and increase opportunities for promotion.

Married for over twenty years my husband, Scott, and I have given relationship tips on podcasts and enjoy speaking with young couples on how to survive the ebbs and flows of marriage and have a successful and loving relationship even in the midst of trials and tests. Scott and I own Murray & Murray Weddings and Events LLC and have coordinated weddings, meetings, parties, and performed wedding ceremonies. We have also coordinated domestic and international travel to such places as Florida, London and Mexico. I enjoy my working relationship with my husband.

I am is a song writer, lyricist, and author and have published two romance novels – A Second Chance and Love’s Desire and a children’s book – Signs of Spring under my pin name, Missy Stephens. I am currently working on my third book in the romance series. I have written original music of which my song, “Thinking of You,” is featured on the Mystery of Love CD by the J Wes Project.
