Meriem El Yamri is a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering and is currently pursuing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence, focusing on XR for effective communication, public speaking, and human-computer interaction. As the founder of Crowtec, a Madrid-based software agency, Meriem blends digital and physical worlds through cutting-edge technology. They are also the founder of DEFSENSE, an XR-based framework designed to train military, law enforcement, and emergency services.

Born in Morocco and raised in Spain, she is deeply passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world challenges. With a strong commitment to bridging the gender gap in STEM, they are actively involved in promoting diversity within the tech industry. Beyond their digital expertise, she has a strong passion for travel, having lived in countries like Germany, Sweden, the US, and Japan to experience life as a local. And she enjoys creating physical art, particularly through pottery.
