Melyssa Scott is proof-positive that making an impact in the world doesn’t require … well, anything on the outset.

As an immigrant to the USA from Canada with no previous connections or insight into life in the USA, Melyssa cultivated a life from scratch in entrepreneurship, leadership, and public speaking in the areas of personal growth, grief and loss, and mental health.

In 2018, Melyssa’s entrepreneurial abilities took hold, and she helped found and build a successful e-commerce wine business. She rose to the top her company and was living her dream.

And then....

Suddenly and tragically, on January 14, 2022, Melyssa's husband passed away from a very public suicide. The dream life was shattered.

Presently, Melyssa and her daughters are moving through unimaginable pain.... but how?

Melyssa shares her personal life experiences on public stages, intending to address mental health, coping with grief and loss, the stigma of suicide, teaching others to "give your brain a break," and the impact that kindness can play in one's life.

Melyssa has chosen to share her story with passion and purpose, living authentically and choosing kindness everywhere she goes.
