Melvin Banks

Bio:  As the owner and sole proprietor of "Banks Speaking & Coaching"I have had the opportunity to speak and coach in a wide variety of settings, but I find nothing more fulfilling than helping individuals and groups breakdown self imposed barriers! Having come from a background that gave me every possible excuse to settle for less than I am capable of producing in life, I've found that we only have two options; "We can live in our history, or live for our destiny". Each of us has been uniquely gifted and equipped to fulfill a divine purpose and serve our fellow man in some extraordinary way, but most people never dare step out of their history to understand that purpose. That's where I step in! Having overcome learning struggles as a child, poverty, an alcoholic father, a mother that never finished highschool, image insecurity, and being a teen parent; I've found that the only way to escape mediocrity and living below my means was to re-define myself and my life by establishing a clear vision and letting go of my history, so that i can embrace my God ordained destiny! My purpose in life is to help others do the same! I'm a candid speaker that openly shares the struggles that I've endured to connect with the audience and inspire them to courageously and boldly step into the best version of themselves!
