My name is Melinda, my friends and family call me Lynn, but I prefer MimiLynn. As a talented, courageous, militant, tenacious, and thorough young Lady of African descent, it is my pleasure to share with you some of my skills, insight, etc.

The need for the Game Changers Academy

To build resistance, to disrupt the familiar and the status quo. To formidably go against the grain, as I like to call it. The purpose of this academy is to equip those who have no background for what they are pursuing. To uplift, inspire and support the fundamental, foundational process to reach and exceed a goal.

I started GCA, with the idea to move people to action. Where there is stagnation, there is also staleness and decay. As a people, we do not desire nor do we have time to waste.

My focus is not predicated or limited to one idea, but many. I hope to change the systems of education, but influencing those in positions of authority to solicit change. Especially with our young Black Females and Males. Our young Black males are dying at an alarming rate and this is in part due to disease, prison, drugs, police brutality, etc. It is our purpose to lift each other to greater heights.
