Maya Tyler

Author, speaker, entrepreneur, Maya Tyler, was born in Takoma Park, Maryland. Her mission as stated on her website, TheBounceBackProject.com, is to help widowed moms like herself “create, financially support, and execute a plan to bounce back, raise healthy children, and find happiness after spousal loss”. She is known to ask the thought provoking question, inspired by her late mentor “..So, Who Will You Be NEXT?"

Maya received her BS in information systems from Virginia State University and completed English and writing courses at the University of Connecticut. She received her life coaching certificate in 2019, and continues her education in the subject.

While she works full time as a course instructor and widow life-coach, Tyler also enjoys writing poetry, children’s fiction, and motivational nonfiction. She currently lives in Maryland with her three children.
