I am an American from California. I live in Istanbul.
I do communications coaching for multinational finance companies. My job is to train executives and managers how to communicate and present their visions more clearly.
I started down that road in 2007, when I helped start the first Toastmasters club in Istanbul. I love communications training because I love helping people share their visions with the people around them. I partner with Sunum Ofisi so we can provide training in both English and in Turkish.
I have extensive international trade and operations experience, including supply chain management, ecommerce sales and customer service, and business communications coaching.
I have spent 33% of my adult life abroad, with stints living and working in China and in Turkey.
In 2012-2013 I walked across Turkey, starting at the Aegean sea at Kuşadası and finishing at the Turkey-Iran border east of Van. The walk, a solo affair, took me seven months. I speak regularly about the walk to schools and non-profits. I am also writing a book about it.
