Hi, I'm Matt, a coach, leadership and product management professional originally from Sydney, Australia. With over 10+ years in the finance sector and 8+ years of experience living and working in Tokyo, I now reside in Perth.
I have over 20 years of experience speaking, facilitating and training across a variety of channels, including in-person and online. Furthermore, I have spoken to a variety of levels of seniority ranging from university and entry-level employees, all the way up to executives and business owners. I have a passion for education, and helping people to develop and attain their wildest dreams.
In Sydney, I worked in the finance sector, predominantly in product management and leadership roles. Especially in product management, I ran numerous workshops on investment basics for our administration and sales teams. In my leadership roles, I conducted orientation and provided training on systems and processes.
In Tokyo, I worked as a freelance corporate trainer, specialising in business communication and culture. So, I ran a variety of workshops and private training on building confidence in networking and socialising, presentation skills and overall business communication methodology and approach. I also guided Japanese professionals on global business communication culture.
More recently, after graduating from executive coaching training, I have become an accomplished speaker on growth mindset and leadership topics. These include things like, building a growth mindset, embracing failure, overcoming challenges and fears, constructive feedback, coaching for leaders and more.
