After studying Business Economics and Financial Planning, Martijn de Zoete (1970) worked within the banking sector as an advisor to directors and wealthy individuals. He was intrigued by the phenomenon of one individual being successful and another individual who is not. A master and trainers course in NLP gave him valuable insight into the essential success factors. After performing various Business Development jobs and completing the professor’s course in Change management at Nyenrode University, he came to the conclusion that there was no dynamic model that could effectively uncover the tensions caused by changes within organisations and people.
Martijn de Zoete developed the Z-model of Change® based on his knowledge and experience in change management. As an internationally licensed NLP trainer he uses this model in different ways in (executive) coaching, training and, organisational development courses. His business novel "The Change Perspective" was published in September 2017 in English. In 2018 the Z-model of Change® was scientifically proved and the book "How Change Works" was published.
