Bio

Veteran & Mental Health Journalist

Marcus Hart is a dedicated mental health journalist and a proud veteran of the United States Army National Guard. After serving as a military supply clerk, Marcus turned his personal challenges with PTSD into a mission to advocate for mental health awareness and equity. He has authored three impactful books, including Think Possible Be Possible, where he shares his journey with PTSD and underscores the critical importance of mental wellness.

As the founder and host of The Transform U! Live Show podcast, Marcus engages with a broad audience, discussing key issues related to mental health, spirituality, and personal growth. His work is deeply informed by his experiences as a suicide survivor and his commitment to breaking the stigma around mental health.

Marcus is a professional member of the Association of Health Care Journalists (AHCJ) and the US Press Association, which solidifies his role as a respected voice in health journalism. He focuses on health equity, trauma, and the unique mental health challenges faced by veterans. Through his advocacy, Marcus has also established online communities like Transcend Transformation, offering support and resources for emotional well-being and suicide prevention.

Marcus’s speaking engagements are a powerful blend of personal testimony and professional insight, aimed at inspiring others to embrace their mental health journeys and seek the help they need. His message is clear: it's okay not to be okay, and sharing your story is a strength, not a weakness.
