Marco Ricorda

I am an international communication expert, analyst and commentator with 15 years experience in international affairs, politics, policy making and large events. Today I’m the Communication Officer for ICMPD in the Mediterranean. I was previously a Member of Cabinet for the President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani, Head of Social Media of the ALDE Group and Guy Verhofstadt, Social Media Manager of the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, Digital Strategist for the European Union at Expo Milano 2015, Social Media Analyst at the Directorate General for Communication of the European Commission and Press Officer at Bruegel, the Brussels-based think tank for international economic policy.

Since 2017 I have been listed as an #EUInfluencer by ZN Consulting and I am a mentor for the Politico EU Studies Fair.

I used to be a competitive fitness athlete and I am still passionate about rugby, bodybuilding and diving. I used to be a brand ambassador for Gunsmith Fitness and I volunteered in the Terzo Tempo Association, an organization intended to raise-awareness about contact sports-related injuries.
