Founder and Managing Director of Stratascension, an innovation strategy and consulting practice focusing on the innovation optimization category which takes small and medium-sized businesses from an innovation deficient environment to one where innovation and operations co-exist optimally.
Formerly licensed CPA in MD and VA for 15 years prior to launching Stratascension, providing professional services and support in the aerospace, defense, and telecommunications industries for over 20 years.
He earned a doctorate in business and technology with a specialization in strategy and innovation, based on my study of CEOs and business leaders of knowledge-intensive business service firms and what drives innovativeness within their organizations. As a result, he was named recipient of the 2018 Wall Street Journal © Business Leader Award for carrying out my passion for small businesses both academically and in practice.
He has a passion for helping small businesses and their leaders because I believe that small businesses are the backbone of any economy, there is a larger business in every small business, and that every business leader has the capacity to produce innovative, productive, and outstanding businesses with the right help, which led me to become a certified speaker, trainer, and coach with the John Maxwell Team.
He also is an active volunteer with local charitable organizations, including youth sports, and enjoys spending time with his wife and their two sons.
