Maj General Prabdeep Behl

Major General Prabdeep Singh Behl, is a veteran of the Indian Army, with over 36 years of service to the Nation. A second generation Assam Regiment officer, he was born in Shillong and studied at St Edmunds College Shillong. He is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy Khadakwasla, Defence Services Staff College - Wellington, Army War College – Mhow and the prestigious National Defence College, New Delhi.

He has had a very interesting career and has served in nearly all corners of the country in varied terrain ranging from the deserts of Rajasthan to high altitude areas of Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh He has actively conducted Counter Terrorists operations in Jammu & Kashmir and the North East.

He has held very prestigious command and staff appointments throughout his career. He commanded his battalion in Jammu & Kashmir and in Hyderabad, an Infantry brigade along the Punjab border and a Mountain Division in Counter Terrorist role in the North East.

Major General PS Behl, post retirement in 2021, he is engaged in Business and Executive Coaching. He has also delivered many motivational talks and held leadership sessions. He speaks on ‘Leadership in the VUCA World’ and motivates employees and students to think beyond the present through his Talk- ‘Sky is the Limit’. He also speaks on geo-strategy and geo-politics and has featured in certain youtube channels. He is currently undergoing the Impact Leaders Course on ESG being conducted by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, India.
