From depressed alcoholic to fulfilled child of God:
2020 changed more than my life, it wrecked my family. While most families were celebrating Christmas 2020 I was drunk and high mourning the recent death of my father. Over the next 6 months I also got divorced and found I needed to change jobs. These many life changes were too much for me to bear and I quickly became a depressed alcoholic & addict. Over the next 2 years my life spirals out of control while I spent every dime I made on material possessions, travel, alcohol and drugs to escape.
When I finally am at my whits end I give in and give faith, therapy and AA a try. These resources drastically changed the trajectory of my life in such an impactful way, I finally find God, peace, happiness & stability. My story isn’t one of glitz and glam but of realism and deep desperation. I share the major lifestyle shifts & mindset shifts I have to make and how it all molded me into the person I am today.
