Lon Barfield

A computer scientist and design thinker, Lon Barfield has research, industry & start-up experience and is a lecturer and author. After joint degrees in Computer Science and Physics and a Masters in Computer Science he went on to work at the CWI: Holland's National Research Labs, co-founded the internet start-up General Design and worked at Hewlett Packard Labs as well as a number of universities; Bristol, TU Delft, Utrecht, OU, UWE, City University, University of the Arts London and the Manchester Metropolitan University. At Simpleweb Studio Block he is working on technologies and issues in the distributed ledger space and is a review editor for the journal ‘Frontiers in Blockchain’.
