Lesa Edwards

Lesa Edwards is the CEO of Exclusive Career Coaching. She provides a full complement of job search and career management services for high-achieving mid-career professionals, and she has worked with clients on all continents except Antarctica.

Lesa has spoken nationally on job search strategy, career management tools, and interviewing techniques. She is also a LinkedIn expert and has spoken internationally on how to build great profiles and maximize this tool's effectiveness. She is informative and engaging in equal measure; her audiences learn a lot and have fun doing so.

As one of fewer than 25 Master Resume Writers in the world, Lesa has written hundreds of resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, and other marketing pieces for clients in a range of fields. With Lesa’s friendly personality, intelligence, and ability to ask exactly the right questions, she is a hit with her clients.

As a Certified Job Search Strategist (CJSS), Lesa works with clients to develop a targeted, proactive job search strategy, navigating the complexities of today’s job market without relying on job boards. She coaches clients on interview strategies so they can effectively present their brand during the job interview.

Lesa is also a Certified Executive and Leadership Development Coach (CELDC) and has coached leaders throughout the world to move successfully into their new positions by helping them navigate their new waters with confidence and competence to achieve exceptional results.

Lesa is a Master Practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the world’s most widely used personality assessment. She uses the tool to help teams communicate more effectively, become more cohesive, manage conflict better, and identify their unique leadership skills. Lesa also uses the tool extensively with clients in the career decision-making process.

Previously, Lesa was the Career Center Director at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri and Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia. In those roles, she developed and taught credit courses and innovative programs to address the career preparedness of college students, partnered with regional employers to ensure job opportunities for graduating students, conducted strategic planning and program assessments, and wrote numerous articles and other materials on career-related topics.

Lesa has a master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA) from Columbus State University and a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Florida State University. She has two adult children and two coonhounds named Piper and Ranger.
