Laura Doud

Laura Doud is the elected City Auditor of Long Beach, overseeing an office providing independent audits to improve the community. Her recommendations resulted in changes to the City Charter and Municipal Code, bringing additional revenues and improved services. She championed the passage of Proposition H, bringing in over $52 million for public safety. Doud's Office has received nationally award-winning audits, focusing on effective and efficient government. She is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, and active in her community.
