L. Michelle is the authoritative voice in leadership at the apex of science and culture. She is a best-selling, award winning author, certified executive & personal coach, Fortune 100 C-Suite advisor and the CEO/founder of no silos communications llc. NSC is a media and consulting company that develops high-performing executive leaders with a specialty in women and women of color. Positive psychology and neuroscience-informed and credentialed by the International Coaching Federation, she runs an international coaching and consulting practice where she works with professionals and organizations to create learning and coaching experiences that inspire exceptional lives and leadership. She specializes in moving mid-level and GM leaders to the C-Suite and co-creating opportunities for C-Suite leaders to have lasting impact.These leaders have hailed from American Express, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Bank of America, Schwabb, Netflix, Warner Media, CNN, Merck, Capital One and more. She is also a Certified DISC Practitioner and is currently upgrading her ICF credential to PCC.

Author of three books, she holds editing credits for a children's book. She is writing her fourth, Call & Response: 10 Leadership Lessons from the Black Church, (Winter 2026), released by Amistad/HarperCollins/JVLMedia, Viola Davis's new venture.

She is the only Black woman author creating leadership books that merge culture with applied sciences, including No Thanks: 7 Ways to Say I’ll Just Include Myself (two editions), the companion journal, Slay Everyday: 52 Weeks to Rockstar Leadership and her latest, Yes Please! 7 Ways to Say I’m Entitled to the C-Suite. She is a certified hybrid instructor and facilitator and is on faculty and a global executive coach for the Executive Leadership Council Institute.

She is a contributor to HuffPost VOICES and is the creator, executive producer and host of The Culture Soup Podcast®, heard in 70+ countries. It debuted at #6 on Apple Podcasts in a business category.

She has more than 25 years as an elite, award-winning strategic communicator at global agencies and corporate, making VP before the age of 30, and SVP before 40. She was Chief Executive of her own agency for about a decade.
