Kristy is a Natural Health & Fitness Coach who loves being active and in the outdoors. She had a BSc in Biology and an MSc in Natural Health a certified Holistic Nutritionist, Personal Trainer and Life Coach. She lives on large acreage in the country in Southern Ontario, Canada.

A decade ago, she went from participating in a 70.3 Ironman triathlon to bedridden and barely being able to walk. It all started while on a 300+km solo hike where she was exposed to several ticks, one in particular that badly infected her with Lyme and other co-infections. Years of specialists and tests could not uncover the problem while her health continued to deteriorate

She was informed she had been infected with Lyme and would have to live with this chronic immune deficiency disease for the remainder of her life. It had infected and deteriorated her heart, muscles, tissue, brain, and nervous system, among other health impacts.

She refused to accept this fate. Not only did she put into action everything she knew, but she also had to challenge herself to find more healing and energy. She eventually understood health and recovery in a new dimension through much trial and error, allopathic and alternative treatment, research, and self-reflection. Her insistence on understanding the coordination between the body and mind and how our natural intuition plays a role led her to find the health and happiness she desired.

Throughout the ordeal of repairing her health, Wood-Giles wrote about her journey, which has resulted in her book Two-Week Window. Her incredible insight and drive find her sharing her knowledge daily and living as an example of how to thrive in life.

She is now back training for endurance triathlons, coaching others to do the same, and her greatest joy is helping many find health and happiness that they never dreamed possible. She is focused on full body health and wellness that includes movement, nutrition, vitamins & mineral supplementation, emotion wellness and empowerment. She is so grateful for the opportunity to share her knowledge, background, and experience to help others because we are all meant to thrive in life.

Strong Inside & Out

The purpose of this program will be to demonstrate how to feel strong and confident both inside and out. Participants will learn how to develop and maintain a positive self-image through self-awareness, acknowledging strengths and embracing uniqueness. The participant will come to be able to evaluate and identify their perceived weakness in a new way, celebrate individuality and avoid comparisons with others.

Participants will understand more the influence of powerful self -talk and how to benefits from this information and counteract less supportive efforts. A simple but valuable tool will be developed to help build resilience. An understanding of the role self-care and self-compassion play in true empowerment and resiliency. Overall, the seminar aims to provide participants with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to develop a positive body image and maintain it as they navigate life.

Talk So Your Body Listen - Listen To Your Body Talk

The workshop also emphasizes the importance of communication between the mind and body, and how to cultivate a more robust and effective connection between the two. These skills can be applied in all aspects of life, enabling participants to better manage stress, improve overall well-being, and achieve their goals.

This workshop aims to provide attendees with scientifically backed techniques to effectively support, restore, and empower themselves. It achieves this by teaching fundamental concepts about the nervous system and the role of instincts in managing stress and achieving balance. Through various instructional exercises, participants will gain skills in self-reflection, identifying strengths and power sources, overcoming resistance, and exploring their dreams.

Eating By Instinct

This program is based on the idea that many of our challenges with health, weight, and eating are the result of a misunderstanding of the relationship between our body and food. The workshop aims to provide attendees with a deeper understanding of their body's signals and needs in relation to food.

By understanding why we eat, what we do, and how to guide and support our needs, participants can unlock the code for effortless, nutritional health. This involves learning about the different factors that can affect our eating habits, including cravings, insufficiency in vitamins and minerals, histamine bucket & inflammation, emotional eating, and dehydration.

The workshop will cover these topics in detail, providing attendees with practical strategies and techniques to better understand their body's signals and needs in relation to food. By learning to eat by instinct, participants can develop a healthier relationship with food and achieve optimal health and wellness.

Unlocking the Wonders of Nature: Your Path to Health and Happiness

Nature plays a significant role in our health and well-being, and that understanding our connection with nature and natural laws can lead to a mutually beneficial relationship with both nature and ourselves.

As humans, we are a part of nature, and understanding this relationship can guide us towards many answers about how to live a healthy and fulfilling life. The workshop emphasizes the importance of sharpening our instincts and gaining insight into how we can best support our health, fitness, nutrition, energy, and happiness.

The workshop also explores the scientific elements of grounding, energy frequencies, cycles, and balance found in nature that can contribute to our health and happiness. By understanding and leveraging the natural elements that contribute to our health and happiness, participants can develop a deeper appreciation for the interconnectedness of all things and achieve optimal health and wellness
