With a professional background in telecommunications and banking, Korbie Perkins became known as a “workflow process” expert. She works to identify a problem, determines an action plan, implements the plan then follows up to see if any adjustments are needed.
Korbie applies the same knowledge, level of dedication, integrity, and ethics to her current profession. For the past 10 years, she has served as a police officer, working as a detective for six years, and a crime scene investigator (CSI) for eight years. Currently she is a Community Liaison Officer, tasked with training and community outreach.
She is also the Colorado State Director for R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense), an international self-defense program. Like her students, Korbie’s life was impacted after taking her first R.A.D. Self-Defense Course for Women. What got her hooked was seeing the students’ reactions and what a difference the workshop made in their lives.
