Bio

After experiencing the life shattering shockwaves that suicide has created in her life, Kimberly is now an advocate for mental health. She talks about the importance of suicide prevention and has created social tools and content to break the stigma around suicide and raises awareness to the warning signs.

Kimberly is a merchant of hope. She has been an educator by profession for 30 years. She believes strongly that through education and awareness, we can shine light into the darkness and spread hope.

Whiplash and Grace: Mental health is a topic that affects millions of people worldwide, and it is important to recognize that one is not alone in the struggle.

Let's untangle ourselves from the stigma of mental health and suicide so that we can learn to tell ourselves the truth as we become vulnerable, courageous and practice self compassion.

Like the unpredictable force of whiplash, we encounter unexpected setbacks, disappointments, and challenges that seem insurmountable. However, we also witness the beautiful power of grace, which enables transformation, resilience, and remarkable personal growth.

The essence of life is finding meaning, however intrusive thoughts can bombard our minds and convince us otherwise. We need to learn to tell ourselves the truth.

The truth is that you matter, you are someone's world and the world is worthy of you, your genius and your ideas. The truth is that you are irreplaceable. The truth is that we are not alone in our pain.
