Leadership Coaching

Today’s leaders are expected to deliver results in the face of constant change, limited clarity and mounting pressure. In these high-stakes environments, even the most experienced leaders default to reactive and protective behaviors—overthinking, over-functioning or overcompensating—in ways that stifle their teams, innovation and performance. These often unconscious habits reduce leadership capacity and drive unintended consequences across the organization: diminished trust, stalled innovation, lower engagement and reduced bottom lines. The problem isn’t leadership competence, it’s lack of awareness of what’s really driving our actions and decisions.

Kim Meninger leverages psychological insight, business acumen and leadership experience to help leaders recognize and disrupt the internal triggers that limit their impact so they can operate with clarity, confidence and courage. She has lived this work, first as a leader inside high-demand tech environments like EMC and Monster, and now as a trusted coach to leaders at Amazon, Salesforce, Pfizer, Bain Capital and others. Kim’s approach to helping leaders navigate high-growth, high-change business landscapes goes beyond theory. It’s practical, actionable and designed to create lasting business value. When leaders learn to master the moment, they make better decisions, communicate more effectively and drive stronger results across the board.

Master the Moment: Bridging the Gap Between Instinct & Intentionality

In today’s environment of constant change and mounting pressure, even experienced leaders struggle to show up as the leader they aspire to be. Under stress, we fall into reactive patterns—overthinking, over-functioning, overcompensating—that quietly erode trust, stifle innovation and drain performance.

The real challenge isn’t managing external forces, it’s managing ourselves in the face of them. Leaders need strategies to close the gap between who they want to be and who they become under pressure.

In this timely keynote, leadership coach and former high-tech leader Kim Meninger introduces the LEADS framework, a practical, science-backed approach to help leaders shift from reactivity to intentionality in high-stakes moments. Through relatable stories and real-world tools, Kim empowers leaders to more consistently embody their best selves when it matters most.

Impostor Syndrome Is Real. Here’s What Leaders Can Do About It.

Impostor syndrome isn’t just a personal struggle. It’s a hidden business risk that affects performance, team dynamics and organizational success. In today’s high-pressure and fast-changing workplaces, it’s more pervasive than ever before.
Left unaddressed, impostor syndrome leads to burnout, risk aversion and missed opportunities. It stifles innovation, erodes confidence and keeps talented professionals from fully owning their roles. This isn’t just an individual issue. It’s a leadership imperative.
Leaders need to understand how impostor syndrome operates: what drives it, how it shows up and how to support others through it. When leaders can recognize and address impostor syndrome, they create healthier, more collaborative and higher performing workplaces.
In this keynote, leadership coach Kim Meninger shares practical and research-informed strategies to manage impostor syndrome within themselves and their teams and unlock greater confidence, innovation and impact across the organizat

Walking the Tightrope: Mastering the Balance between Likability and Respect

As workplaces strive to achieve greater diversity, equity and inclusion, traditional gender expectations continue to present challenges for women. Women often face the double bind -- show up as likable and be seen as less competent, or show up as strong and competent and risk being seen as less likable. While the pandemic has proven that leaders who demonstrate empathy, humility and vulnerability are more effective than their command-and-control counterparts, deep-rooted gender expectations make it difficult for everyone who deviates from our traditional mental models of leadership to authentically navigate the workplace and rise to higher levels. This often leaves us feeling as though we have a "tightrope" to walk. In this session, we will identify actionable steps to more confidently and successfully navigate this tightrope in our everyday work environments.

Using Self-Promotion Strategies to Advance Your Career

Many women are reluctant to actively promote their value because it feels self-serving or inauthentic. Rather than promote themselves, they prefer to believe that their work will speak for itself. Unfortunately, without the confidence and commitment to share your value with others, you may lose out on important opportunities to raise your visibility, make a bigger impact and advance within your organization. In this interactive session, you’ll learn practical, actionable strategies to help you authentically promote your value across your organization.

Raising Our Self-Awareness to Maximize Inclusion

In our fast-paced, rapidly changing world, it can be difficult to engage in self-reflection and maintain high levels of self-awareness. Thinking deeply about ourselves when we’re feeling pressure to meet our personal and professional obligations can feel like a luxury we can’t afford. But an authentic commitment to raising our self-awareness not only empowers us to maximize our performance; it can also transform our workplaces in powerful ways.

Key takeaways of this session include:

• Understanding why self-awareness is critical to inclusion and belonging and what individuals and organizations lose when we lack self-awareness.
• Gaining actionable strategies to raise your own self-awareness, connect to your core values and reframe feedback so that you can show up as your most powerful self.
• Identifying practical steps you can take to diversify your network and build meaningful connections across your organization.

90 minutes
(View workshop agenda)

In our fast-paced, overstimulated world, it’s difficult to be purposeful and intentional about how we manage ourselves and our careers. When we are not intentional, however, we rely on others to guide our careers, which may not align with our own values and goals. We may also have unrealistic expectations of the support others will provide. In this workshop, you’ll learn the importance of self-empowerment, how to set your intentions and how to best communicate with others regarding such intentions.

Greater Confidence, Greater Career Success
2 hours
(View workshop agenda)

While much emphasis is placed upon the importance of skills and training on individual career success, very little is spoken about the influence of confidence. At one time or another, virtually every professional will experience challenges with confidence. You may doubt your ability to perform a specific role or function, question the value of a comment you’d like to share, or hesitate to connect with another colleague or leader. While confidence gaps are normal, if not managed effectively, they can prevent you from reaching your professional goals. Whether you’re an individual who wants to increase your own confidence, or a leader who wants to boost your team’s confidence for better results, this interactive discussion will help you to more quickly and easily achieve your goals.
