Recognized as a dynamic, fun, engaging and high-energy presenter and AI strategist, Kent doesn’t just talk about the future—he shows it through live, entertaining, interactive demos.
As a higher-ed professor at a leading polytechnic, Kent has learned to deliver actionable presentations—not lectures or theory-heavy talks.
Kent’s influence extends far beyond his role as Gen AI Thought Leader at Seneca Polytechnic. His expertise is sought out across diverse, high-stakes sectors, leading to significant engagements with:
* Government and Banking Officials on AI policy and fact-finding missions.
* Post-Secondary Educators at major conferences on the future of learning.
* Industry leaders, where he has conducted targeted AI workshops in mining, software development, airport administration, and various business groups.
Kent is dedicated to demystifying AI, making it fun, accessible, and actionable, and showing and unlocking its potential to optimize human performance and innovation through practical application and training.
His current institutional leadership role solidifies this focus. Kent currently serves as one of Seneca Polytechnic’s two AI Thought Leaders—a strategic position he has held since 2024. In this capacity, he operates at the cutting edge, actively consulting and co-creating with faculty and administration to seamlessly integrate Generative AI into core workflows across the polytechnic.
This commitment to innovation is built on strong foundations. Following a distinguished career in employment law, Kent transitioned to higher education, joining Seneca Polytechnic. As a full-time faculty member and in pivotal roles like Lead Professor and Program Co-ordinator, he became an early adopter and champion of EdTech, laying the groundwork for his eventual leap into digital transformation and his current mission of pioneering the future of AI integration.
