Kay Kukoyi

Kay Kukoyi (K.N. Kukoyi CSM FITOL) is an award-winning entrepreneur, 5x author, software delivery specialist, and CEO and founder of Purposeful Group, an entrepreneurship, technology and digital skills consultancy, and several digital academies, including Tech Startup Academy™ an international community and centre for learning for tech startup founders.

In 2019 she was named on the official Inclusive Boards and Financial Times #IB100 List of Top 100 Most Influential BAME Leaders in the UK Technology Sector.

She is a professionally trained technology professional, global startup mentor, speaker, and is the author of 5 books for tech startups and entrepreneurs / small business owners, including the Amazon international bestsellers, "Don't Hire a Software Developer Until You Read this Book" and "Entrepreneurial Espresso."

Kay is a tech startup mentor for the NatWest Entrepreneur Accelerator, Zinc VC, and the We in Social Tech Accelerator. She has a diploma (DiP IM) in Internet Marketing (2016), is a Certified ScrumMaster® (qualified in 2008), a qualified coach (2010), and is a Fellow of The Institute of Training and Occupational Learning.

Kay spent more than 10 years in industry in "corporate tech" as an IT Consultant, translating basic concepts into commercial software applications on multi-million pound digital projects, and has extensive experience in both leading, and working in software delivery teams on high-profile tech projects for companies including Sky News and The SThree Group.
