I am a gender equality consultant, women's safety campaigner and female keynote speaker based in Essex + Brighton who began my campaigning following the death of Sarah Everard. Along with academics from the University of Essex, my research has been included in a paper being published in 2022 on women's safety and, more specifically, how women change their behaviour according to how safe they feel. Currently, I am working with dating app Bumble on their campaign to make Cyberflashing a crime, with Chelmsford City Council on changing attitudes towards women and making the city a more welcoming and safer place and with Chelmsford BID to create a women's safety charter facilitating safer spaces across the city. I am also founder and owner of a collective of bridal boutiques, Rock The Frock, with feminist principles at its core and a co-parent of a six year old daughter.
I am an experienced and engaging public speaker, having presented to audiences at in-person events, as part of panel discussions and in the media, including live TV and radio. Bringing engaging content to a range of audiences, on an often difficult and emotive subject, I am passionate about speaking on gender equality issues from women's safety to misogyny and rape culture.
