Juergen H. Gangoly

Managing Director of the Austrian PR agency The Skills Group (http://skills.at), an affiliate of FleishmanHillard International Communications (http://fleishmanhillard.com). Since its founding in 1984 his agency is amongst the leading communications consultancies in Austria and one of the most-awarded PR firms in Europe.

Juergen is specialized in issue management, crisis communications and high-end strategy consulting. In recent years, together with his agency team, he became internationally one of the most-awarded European PR experts and won since 2010: 5-times a SABRE Gold Award (EMEA), 4-times the 1st prize of the Austrian Best Practice Award, twice the International German PR Prize (2013, 2014), two German PR Report Awards and received 2013 ­ for the third time ­ the renown Austrian State PR Award.

He is a Board member of the Austrian Public Relations Association (http://www.prva.at) responsible for International Affairs and Quality Standards, and he represents Austria in the board of the International Communications Consultancy Organization (http://www.iccopr.com).

Juergen is an author and co-author of several publications on online communications and E-Commerce and regularly active as a lecturer on social media and mass communications.

Before joining the professional PR industry almost 20 years ago, Juergen has been active as social worker, campaign director and European Youth representative at the Council of Europe, the European Union and at United Nations conferences.

He is married, has two kids an is a passionate scuba diver and also awarded as underwater photographer. He speaks German, English and a little Arabic.
