I am a combat-veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom (2005-2006) and served as a 19D Cavalry Scout with the 101st Airborne Air Assault Division in southwest Baghdad. My experience in the military honed my leadership skills and further developed a strong sense of purpose, drive, and commitment to seeing the job through.

I'm passionate about veterans issues, disaster relief, non-profits, craft beer and bourbon, and helping our planet for the better.
