Joseph L. Pittera was born September 05, 1966, in New York City. At the age of 8, he moved to Lugano, Switzerland where he attended an Italian school. Later Joseph went to an American High School in Switzerland where he graduated with honors. In 1987 Joseph graduated from the American University in Washington, D.C. from their School of International Service with a BA in International Politics. In 1988 Joseph attended the Washington College of Law at American University and he graduated in 1991 with a Juris Doctor and a Masters in Law and International Affairs. In June 1994 Joseph was admitted to practice law in the State of California and later that year was admitted to practice before the federal courts of the Central District of California. Starting in 1995 Joseph started his own law firm called the Law Offices of Joseph L. Pittera where he began practicing bankruptcy law, criminal law, and family law. The Law Offices of Joseph L.
