Bio

Jong-Chan Chung (Jong) is a web3 startup investor and incubator who has supported dozens of companies in raising funding and bringing their products to market with Blockchain Founders Group. Moreover, he manages Web3 Talents, building a community around education and empowerment that inspires more than 1000 people annually to engage with distributed technologies. As an active member in investor networks like Hustle Fund’s Angel Squad, Fight Club, and Global Coin Research, Jong is at the forefront of web3, identifying the next emerging narratives. In his weekly newsletter DeFi Nuggets, he shares step-by-step guides on how to use DeFi protocols to drive web3 adoption.

Born and raised in Germany, he has been living in Seoul since 2022. Jong graduated from the University of Tokyo and the Hertie School with a dual Master’s degree in public policy. He is fluent in German, English, French, and Korean.
