Bio

John Gentry is a lifelong adventure travel enthusiast, international manager, philanthropist, and solder. He spent 2011-2015 developing a global team in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Early on, he spent the better part of the '90s working with the US Army in Germany, Iraq, and Kuwait. For kicks, he studied in Alaska 2008-2010 international history for a greater understanding in his adventure travels. Traveling For Leadership Growth

In today's world, we can become hyper-focused on degrees, certificates, and other pieces of paper that say we are experts in specific fields. However, have you gone to the field? Do you understand how the world works? How do cultures interact with your brand, field of interest, or area of focus? Because the different regions of the world may view things differently. I discuss and present how travel expanded my ability to lead and motivate people to work as a team. In today's world, understanding others around the globe better prepares us for the future.
