Jo Natauri is the global head of private healthcare and investing at Goldman Sachs. She also serves as the lead investor for Launch with GS, a $500 million initiative which aims to narrow the gender gap in the investment world. In addition, Jo is the co-head of the Americas Women’s Network for Goldman Sachs, and she is a member of the committees for Corporate Investment and Sustainable Investing, the Steering Committee for One Million Black Women, which aims to narrow opportunity gaps for Black women, and the Americas Inclusion and Diversity Committee.
Natauri completed high school at just 16 years old. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where she received her BA in Economics and Biology. She ultimately decided to combine her interests in medicine and business by embarking on a career in the business side of healthcare.
Natauri began her career as an investment banker for Deutsche Bank. She started working for Goldman Sachs in 2006 as Vice President. She was promoted to managing director in 2008, and was named partner in 2012.
Jo is an avid supporter of organizations that promote education and victim advocacy. She sits on the boards of Flywire, a global payment platform, the Ethical Culture Fieldston School, and Safe Horizon, a survivor-support organization. She is a founding board member of the SiTA Foundation, which provides technology to crime victims to assist them in gathering evidence and prosecuting perpetrators.
In 2020, Jo was recognized as one Buyouts Magazine’s ten women rockstars in private equity. In 2021, she was named a “Champion” by Safe Horizon for her work in support of survivors of violence and abuse. In 2023, Jo was honored at the annual Celebrating Women Working & Living with Cancer Benefit Luncheon hosted by the Red Door Community.
