With over 25 years of experience fostering thriving, inclusive cultures in both classroom and workplace settings, Janifer has seamlessly transitioned her expertise into offering professional learning and development services for small businesses. Her career as a teacher and district-level Director of Continuous School Improvement, where she collaborated with the Texas Education Agency to enhance student outcomes and graduation rates across diverse demographic groups, laid the foundation for her innovative Continuous Cultural Improvement™️ model. This model empowers small businesses to critically evaluate and enhance their workplace culture, ensuring it is inclusive, accessible, and equitable.

She is the co-chair of the IDC's Community of Practice - Resources, where she collaborates and shares resources with other diversity professionals. She also holds key positions such as Co-Chair of the DEI council at Round Rock Chamber, Chair of DEI at WilcoHR, and an active member of the Austin LGBTQ Chamber. Her commitment to promoting inclusivity and equality even extends to her role on the board of Round Rock Pride.
