Bio

James Jackson III has worked in the financial industry for almost 18 years, and is currently the Assistant Vice President of Community Development at Zions Bank. He has also served his community for nearly 10 years by founding the Utah African-American Chamber of Commerce in 2009, and serves on several other boards and committees of nonprofit organizations. Jackson’s passion is education, helping people become a better version of themselves. He is an adjunct personal finance professor at Salt Lake Community College, and also has his own company, J3 Motivation, where he is a professional coach, trainer, teacher, and speaker with the John Maxwell team. His areas of expertise include, but are not limited to leadership, and sales and organizational development. Jackson received his undergraduate degree in marketing and finance from the University of Utah and his MBA from the University of Phoenix.
