Bio

Jack is the CEO of Futurity, a food foresight company, and author of Why smart people make bad food choices. Among Scientific American's 100 Most Influential People in Biotechnology today, Jack Bobo also serves as the Director of Global Food and Water Policy at The Nature Conservancy. He is the former Vice President of Global Policy and Government Affairs at Intrexon Corporation. Jack previously served as a senior adviser at the U.S. Department of State. Prior to joining the State Department, Jack practiced law at the Washington, D.C. firm of Crowell & Moring, LLP. His education includes a degree in law, a Master of Science in Environmental Science, as well as degrees in chemistry, biology and psychology. Jack is a regular speaker on global trends in food and agriculture, consumer psychology, science communication and the art of networking.
