Born and raised in an inner city neighborhood in New York there were no shortages of eye opening life lessons. Rather than to be defeated by tough circumstances Ilene has chosen to build and connect with others through shared experiences. Genuine conversation, reaching out to teens, women, families and married couples with insightful and uplifting messages it's her mission to inspire and empower others to a greater sense of community, loving relationships and improve self esteem.
