Ian is passionate about financing and advising growth assets in both developed and emerging markets.

He created FinFocus | Global to invest in global markets and FinFocus | Africa as a financial marketplace for socially responsible financing in Africa.

FinFocus | Global commits capital, expertise and ideas to create value responsibly in businesses and communities. It’s investment focus is growth businesses | assets, with a passion for socially responsible investing.

FinFocus | Africa is an online marketplace helping young African businesses with funding and mentorship. “Finance is a Social Responsibility” reflects its core identity.

Ian has over 20 years of global market leadership, client advisory and transaction execution experience on globally renowned platforms | PricewaterhouseCoopers | Wells Fargo Securities | KPMG | Arthur Andersen | Procter & Gamble.

As a Partner at PwC, he led and built the Deals Advisory platform into one of the leading Transaction Advisory platforms in Africa.

As a Vice President at Well Fargo Securities, he executed ~ $15 billion in M&A transactions and raised over $20 billion of debt financing in a Lead / Bookrunner role in the U.S. market.

At KPMG and Arthur Andersen, he delivered strategy and operations consulting advice to businesses in emerging markets.

He has an MBA from Goizueta Business School, Emory University (USA) and a B.Sc. Economics with Honors from the University of Ibadan.
