Hamill Serrant's career in the financial sector, especially in algorithmic trading and the strategic management of diverse asset portfolios, including equities, foreign exchange, and digital assets, began amidst the 2008 financial crisis when he joined Credit Suisse. His adeptness at navigating complex trading environments and his proactive approach to strategic business development quickly set him apart. In his current role at FalconX, based in both San Mateo, California, and New York, Hamill is instrumental in Institutional Coverage. He manages a broad portfolio that includes systematic, discretionary, and derivatives trading accounts for a wide range of clients, from hedge funds to family offices and dealers.

Before his tenure at FalconX, Hamill was the Director of Institutional Loan Originations at Genesis, a leading digital assets prime broker. There, he led a multinational team and drove an exponential increase in the firm's outstanding loans, demonstrating his leadership and strategic financial acumen.

Hamill's earlier professional experiences also include a substantial role at Sanford C. Bernstein, where he managed trading operations for North American asset managers and a pivotal tenure at Credit Suisse. At Credit Suisse, he eventually rose to the position of Vice President of the International Program Trading Desk, managing significant non-dollar portfolio trades and optimizing the execution of large foreign exchange transactions.

In 2012, Hamill expanded his global market insight through a strategic six-month placement in Hong Kong, where he managed the firm's foremost foreign exchange client account and delved deeper into the Asia Pacific equity markets.

Hamill's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. While at Trinity, he was actively involved in the college community, serving as a class senator and participating in the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity. His educational journey also featured a semester abroad in Rome, enhancing his global perspective.
