Chasing a shadow: The health of the business is only as robust as the health of the entrepreneur.

The poor health of executives and entrepreneurs has a definite negative impact on their businesses. Numerous studies have shown this to be true.
Business owners first need to be armed with the right information. Second, they need to be motivated to do the needful.
Dr. Adaka approaches the topic using two foundational principles:
Simplicity and balance.
Healthcare is complex, but a good medical professional can present the facts in an easy-to-understand way.
Balance is essential in almost every aspect of life. 95% of life is lived within what statisticians refer to as "two standard deviations from the norm”. Dr. Adaka says that we get overinvolved in and overconcerned about the 5% that rarely happens. He cuts through the noise and centres on what really matters.
He then concludes with a summary of the talk and offers time for questions.

The hard problem isn’t hard at all: US Healthcare

America should have the world's best healthcare system, but we do not. Our healthcare metrics are among the lowest in the world's wealthy countries.

Universal healthcare is both necessary and attainable.
The shift toward universal healthcare is inevitable, yet many within the industry remain unprepared because they think it is impossible.

Your Attendees will learn:
America spends more than twice as much per capita on healthcare than any other wealthy nation
Our health care metrics are some of the lowest in the developed world.
Other wealthy countries have 99%-100% healthcare coverage. In the US, it's 57%.

The disparity between our huge resources in wealth and technology and the limitations of it's availability will not go on forever. As a nation, we are approaching a tipping point in the provision of healthcare.

Beyond the Singularity- Space, Time.. and God?

In this talk, Dr. Adaka addresses the conflict between faith and science. He reassures people that their awareness of the spiritual is not contradicted by a firm belief in truth revealed by science.

Dr. Adaka explains the limits that modern physicists are running into and how it reveals that which exists beyond the material world.

Your Attendees will learn:
The first scientists who studied the origin of the universe believed it had no beginning.

We now know that the universe did have a beginning, 13.8 billion years ago.

It is physically impossible to examine existence before the beginning of the universe.

There is that which exists beyond the universe. This is not a spiritual or religious statement. It's a scientific one.

  • Testimonial for Dr. Gregory Adaka – GDS Group Healthcare Summit Dr. Gregory Adaka, Associate Chief Medical Officer at Jackson Health System, delivered a powerful and thought-provoking perspective during our panel, “Medicine & Social Media: Managing Public Misinformation in the Digital Era.” His ability to dissect the ethical complexities of free speech in healthcare communication and the dangers of digital misinformation was both timely and impactful. Dr. Adaka’s commentary struck a chord with the audience, particularly his insight: “Nobody wants to stamp on your right to express yourself with free speech, but how ethical is it to shout 'fire' in a crowded theater?” His thoughtful framing reminded us of the responsibility that comes with digital influence in healthcare—and the potential consequences when that responsibility is misused. We were honored to host Dr. Adaka as a panelist. His contributions challenged attendees to think more critically about the sources and motives behind online health information and underscored the vital role of ethical leadership in today’s media-driven medical landscape.

I am amazed by his ability to pack an immense amount of content into one conversation and deliver it with ease, humor, and relatability. His compelling stories beautifully describe the differences in healthcare without disparaging other international approaches, highlighting instead how diverse philosophies can coexist and complement one another in the shared pursuit of patient healing and well-being. A truly incredible person and wonderful guest.
